Screening
IA provides various audiometers best suited for screening applications for each age group ranging from preschool children to noise exposed workers. For example, pre-school screening may be done with the Pilot audiometer utilizing a colorful picture board. Older children may be given hearing tests using manual screening audiometers such as those manufactured by Interacoustics or the latest microprocessor controlled screening units such as the Earscan from Micro Audiometrics.
